Portland's Waterfront: Cherry Blossoms

Signs of Spring are popping up - and open - everywhere!  From Trilliums at Tryon Creek, to the Red flowering currants in my yard, things are starting to come alive.

Just a quick post to encourage everyone to go see the beautiful cherry blossoms right now along Portland's waterfront (between the Steel and Burnside bridges).  For East-siders like me, park near the Rose Quarter (or bike, or take MAX to the Rose Quarter stop), and walk to the Eastbank Esplanade where it meets the Steel Bridge.  Take the pedestrian level of the bridge across the Willamette for some incredible views!  My camera really doesn't do them justice, but here are a few I took yesterday (4/3/11).
