Planted it in multiples at our present home, and two other homes, in Beaverton, and Jacksonville, Oregon.<br /><br />I've got a 'King Edward' but my preference is really the straight species, which we also have.<br /><br />Seems to be one of the longer blooming plants in the Portland area, or wherever it grows in the Pacific NW for that matter.<br /><br />Also a very affordable landscaping plant material purchase too.M. I...Thanks, Mike - that's an interesting point. I bet the amount of sun could affect the number of blooms. My bushes have western and southern exposure with no shade. Mine doesn't have as man...One of my favorites! Mine doesn't have as many blooms, but I've never pruned it and it gets a lot of shade.
